Born in Houston, TX and raised in Lancaster, PA, Kathryn Ainsley Grant now resides in New York City area. When she was 6 years old, she saw the movie I Am Sam, and ever since has wanted to help others feel their feelings the way that (and subsequent) movies has helped her to feel hers.

 

At the age of 18, she moved to New York to begin working with acting coach Anthony Abeson, and rocked it out in her 5-bedroom Washington Heights apartment for 11 years before getting married, when her loving but New Jersey employed husband moved her to "the sixth borough". She continued to train at Stella Adler Acting Studio, The Barrow Group, The Actor's Green Room, and so on, and is currently in ongoing study with Rob McCaskill. Kathryn Ainsley Grant has appeared in numerous plays, short films, and web series.

 

Being on set and bringing her unique point of view, as well as her skillset, to be of service to the project lights her up inside.
